The Challenge
Humanic AI runs one of San Francisco’s largest marketing and tech gatherings, with thousands of attendees streaming in through Luma, the city’s go-to ticketing platform. Luma made it simple to sell tickets and track registrations—but it stopped short at on-site operations. Arjun, CEO of Humanic AI, was frustrated that Luma had no integration with badge printers, leaving staff juggling manual check-ins and handwritten badges. For an event of this scale, the gap risked bottlenecks at the door and a clumsy first impression.
Key Outcomes
🎟 Seamless Check-Ins
Badge printing became instant and automated, cutting guest wait times from minutes to seconds.
Attendees experienced a frictionless entry, boosting brand perception right at the door.
🖨 Tailored Hardware Integration
A carefully chosen printer device, paired with our Chrome extension, delivered name + organization badges in real time.
The event team avoided costly trial-and-error on hardware and had a plug-and-play solution.
⚡ Faster Staff Workflows
Staff simply tapped “check-in” on Luma; the extension handled the rest.
Freed up staff hours for higher-value tasks like speaker and VIP coordination.
How did we do it?
We turned Luma check-ins into instant badge printing—seamless, fast, and scalable.
Custom Chrome Extension : Built a lightweight extension that “listened” to Luma check-ins and triggered badge printing automatically.
Smart Systems Integration : Engineered smooth communication between Luma’s registration data, the extension, and selected badge printers.
Hardware Collaboration : Guided Humanic AI through hardware selection to ensure reliability, speed, and compatibility with their on-site setup.
Scalable & Repeatable : Delivered a system that can be reused for future Humanic AI events—or any Luma-based conference—without additional dev costs.
